JNTUK SPE STUDENT CHAPTER

Quiz competition for 2nd Year B.Tech students

With a distinct favour towards the development through innovation and to enhance the
skills of the students, SPE JNTUK student chapter has conducted quiz competition for 2 nd
year B.Tech students of both Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering in 2
rounds. The round 1 was conducted on 4th of September 2023 for around 122 students in
written mode. 2 question papers were designed one for petroleum engineering and
another for chemical engineering with 25 questions each in which 10 questions from their
domain followed by 15 questions on aptitude, general knowledge and SPE related topics.
20 students with the top score were selected for round 2 and those 20 students were
divided into 5 groups in such a way that each group contains 4 students.

The round 2 was conducted for those 5 groups on 11th September 2023 in oral mode. In
this pattern each group was asked to answer the questions posed by the coordinators.
Questions were asked from various sections namely sports, itihasam, environment,
general knowledge and technical. One group with top score was selected.

Office bearers of JNTUK SPE Student Chapter actively participated in conducting quiz
competition for second year students. Finally this program concluded by thanking
everyone for their active participation and winners were appreciated.
