Between these two options in Psychology, I would choose UVIC. I would choose UVIC

because, despite the fact that after all the fees to attend school (tuition plus housing and

transportation since it is not local) it would cost me a lot more, I think that the program has

more to offer me. I have always wanted to attend UVIC whereas I am indifferent to attending

SFU. I also like how UVIC is less specified than SFU (Educational Psychology). I thought

that Educational Psychology would be interesting considering its specification. However,

Psychology on its own would give me more flexibility when applying for jobs.

B) Secondary School Teacher

University of Fraser Valley / Bachelor of Education - Secondary School

● Academic Prerequisites:

○ Completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree in at least one teachable

area

○ Three Credits in English Composition

○ Three Credits in English Literature

○ Three Credits in Educational Psychology

○ Four credits of Introduction to Best Practices in Teaching and

Learning

I would choose a Bachelor of Education from UFV. I would choose UFV simply because of

TWU's insane price for five years at school compared to that of UFV. UFV’s course is a little

longer in total considering you would have to take a four-year bachelor's degree in a

“teachable subject,” before applying to the program. However, including the four years

before the program, UFV is still significantly cheaper than TWU.
