The Dual UTA HD includes interfaces for 2-wire analog FXO, 4-wire analog (Tx/Rx), Push-to-Talk
for mobile radios, and Bluetooth for connecting to any mobile phone. The VQuad™ can also be

Operation Fully Independent FXO Ports with full control between VQuad™ systems
4-wire WB Analog
• Balanced – replaces headset (mic/speaker) anywhere
• RJ22 – replaces the phone Handset on any phone at the Curly
Cord
• PTT (Push to Talk) – connect to any mobile radio (DoD,
Emergency Services, Government) and supports voice and
keying the radio
• Mobile – connect to any mobile phone, the phone will
recognize the Dual UTA HD as a headset.
With the Dual UTA HD Bluetooth® option, the Dual UTA HD act as a Bluetooth® Headset and connects to the mobile phone to perform
voice quality analysis along with delay measurements on Bluetooth® enabled mobile devices.
Both Narrowband as well as Wideband devices and networks can be tested. 3G, VoLTE, VoWiFi, VoFemto, 5G networks are supported
for both voice quality and one-way delay measurements, while also confirming, using the VQuad™ Audio Analysis function, the VoLTE
network maintained Wideband audio during the entire call.
Support for voice quality testing on VoLTE network with AMR Wideband codec (with 16000 Sampling Rate) using Bluetooth®
Wideband.
VQuad™ is enhanced to support fully Automated Mobile Phone Testing using either Bluetooth® or the GL’s new Smartphone
Automated Call Control (ACC) cable.
Mobile devices connected to VQuad™ via Dual UTA Bluetooth/Mobile ACC interfaces can be controlled through the VQuad™ script (or
manual operation). VQuad™ can activate the iPhone SIRI or Android Google Voice and send voice commands to the mobile device in
order to perform different set of functions like Placing Call, Answering calls, Rejecting calls, Disconnect calls and Sending Messages
(SMS). In addition, VQuad™ includes Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology for automatically creating the necessary voice prompts for
placing call and messaging over Siri or Google Voice.
In both cases the VQuad™ offers the ability for Automated Call
Control as well as full bi-directional traffic (Digits, Tones, Voice)
during the established call.
Additional functionality includes One Way and Round Trip Delay
(OWD/RTD), SNR, Signal Level, Power and Bandwidth Analysis,
and Energy Detection.
The Wired headset method connects the mobile phone to the Dual UTA HD PTT interface using the GL’s Smartphone ACC cable. The
Smartphone ACC cable method includes a fully automated method for Placing Call, detecting incoming Ring (for automated Answer
call), Answer Incoming Call (or Reject Incoming Call) and Disconnect Call via Siri/Google voice and also supports text-to-speech
technology for generating required voice commands for call setup and messaging.
The Smartphone ACC can perform all basic Call Control functions for fully automated bi-directional call control. The Smartphone ACC
cable connection supports NB, WB, and SWB sampling.
