Flash Fiction is a short fiction story of under 1500
words, usually under 1000 words. The term is often used
to describe short works or short casual works as well.
There are also terms that define more specific word
counts under 100 words, like drabbles(which are 100
words) or six-word-stories (6 words). It is a very short
story that includes
Beginning, middle, and a resolution. It is not a fragment.

Six-Word
Story
A six-word story allows a reader to consume an entire narrative in
just a moment's time.

The American writer Earnest Hemingway wrote the most famous

flash fiction stories of all time. He has been attributed with the
following six-word story:
“For sale. Baby Shoes. Never worn.”
Some other example of six-word
stories:
“Sorry Soldier, Shoes sold in pairs.”
“Knife hidden, he rings the doorbell.”
