Abstract: In the present study the ultimate focus has been made on the performance
analysis of combined refrigerator and freezer unit with single compressor by using
different refrigerants for a better efficiency and lesser power consumption. We will be
going to provide a refrigerant circuit for a Refrigerator-Freezer combination particularly
for domestic use, comprising only a single compressor which will going to be still capable
of ensuring the required performance, whereby the construction of the R-F combination is
simplified. This simplified R-F combination setup will ensure that it will avoid the
particular necessity to employ separate refrigerant circuits or special valving. And hence,
the outcome of this R-F combination setup will reduced the energy consumption and it will
also reduced the manufacturing and operating cost. Further this setup will be analyzed on
the basis of various parameters like Efficiency, power consumption, cooling effect, etc. by
changing the refrigerants used in the process. Fabrication and installation will be done by
us. Further the refrigerant with best output will be used for cooling will not only give a
better cooling effect but also help in reducing green house effect due to regulated and
minimal use.
