1. General Rules

• Participation Fee: Rs. 250 per team.


• Team mixing between individual years is permitted.
• Every Participant must: have a valid main Steam Account; not be a pro player participating in a
professional esports team. Must be a student of IIIT Bhagalpur
• By participating in the CS:GO Community Tournament, Participants acknowledge they will,
without limitation, comply with the Tournament Rules and with the statements and decisions
made by the Administration.
• Every Participant acknowledges the right for the Administration to modify the rules and
regulations for adjustments at any time without notice and if necessary, overrule those to ensure
fair play and integrity throughout the Tournament.
• Every Participant must be respectful towards Admins and other Participants. Insults and unfair or
disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated and will be punished in accordance with these rules.
• Every Team Captain can join the Discord server to communicate with Admins for the
Tournament. The link to the Discord server will be provided to participants before the start of the
Tournament.
• Every Participant has to try to win every round of the Tournament. Purposefully losing for any
reason is strictly forbidden.
• Vulgar, racist, sexist or otherwise offensive player names are forbidden. This will be at the sole
discretion of the Tournament Admins.
• Every Participant acknowledges the right for the Administration to edit players’ names if names
are deemed unfit for display.
• Every Participant in the CS:GO Community Tournament consent to the collection of footage,
photo and audio material displaying or voicing them.

2. Tournament Structure and Schedules

• League Matches are based on Round Robin and Double Elimination.


• Based on the number of registrations, teams will be divided into groups.
• Schedules for league play will be updated later.

3. Facility

• All matches will be played at the Virtual Classroom, Academic Building

4. Game Rules

• Each team’s roster must consist of at least 5 players


• Matches will be played in the following format: 5v5
• Each participant must be a Student of IIIT Bhagalpur
• All weapons are allowed unless disabled in current Ranked Play
• Maps will be decided based on toss
• Players will not be able to switch teams once the tournament has begun
• All players must record their gameplay on their devices

5.Penalties

• Bad manner: Players who excessively BM or have poor sportsmanship as determined by Managing
staff will receive a warning.

➔ This includes behaviour towards other players or Managing staff.


➔ This also includes trolling or intentionally throwing the game, and excessive
profanity/rage.
➔ Another instance beyond that warning will result in removal from the tournament.

• Any instance of cheating will result in an immediate removal from the tournament. Cheating
includes but is not limited to:

➔ Teaming
➔ Using voice or text chat to give hints
➔ Hacking
➔ Ghosting
➔ Stream sniping
➔ Use of a 3rd party program that gives one player an unfair advantage over another.

6.Miscellaneous

• All officials’ calls are final!


• This must contain a screenshot of the end screen
• Discords may only be populated by the players playing during the games.
• All players must use the IIIT Bhagalpur E-Sports Discord Server
• After each game, please try to leave as quickly as possible so that the next teams can get
ready.
• Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the Managing Team.
