Assembly Instructions

1. 1. Print receiver

Receiver can be printed without supports, but they are recommended. Do not use
prints with poor layer adhesion or other defects that may impair it's durability.
Print Temp:210ºC Bed Temp:50ºC Speed:60mm/s or less
Layer height:0.1mm Shell:1.2mm Grid Supports:15%
Suggest printing in PLA, PLA+ or ABS. PLA+ works best.
Remove supports, and clean up exterior surfaces. Make sure there are no support
structures left in any holes or in the buffer threads.

2. Clean up holes
Use a drill bit to open up the holes (giggity, exept the trigger pins). Safety selector
uses 3/8”, takedown pins use 1/4”. Check fit and remove more material as needed.
Trigger pins should fit snugly.

4. 3. Check fit and install reinforcements

A. Place front trunion brace into front receiver slot. Push straight down making sure
the bottom tab of the brace stays flat against the magwell wall. If the brace will not
push into place by hand force, some material of the receiver trunion should be
removed until the brace fits snugly. Check takedown pin function. If needed, use a
1/4” drill bit to open up clearance. Removal of the front brace can be accomplished
by placing the receiver upside down on blocks or a vise and driving the brace out
with a punch or flat tipped screwdriver.

B. Place rear brace over retaining tabs to verify fit. If necessary, remove material
from tab, usually the bottom side, until it fits over and lines up with the bottom edge
of the receiver.

Once the rear brace is fitted properly, marks can be made for drilling out the screw
holes. Use a 5/64” drill bit marked off to 3/8” to drill all 8 holes. Remove any
material that protrudes from the surface or it will cause alignment issues.

After all holes are drilled out, install rear brace and all 8 screws loosely. Tighten
screws uniformly until brace is tight against receiver. Do not over tighten screws.

4. Assemble
Install all lower parts as you would with any lower receiver. Install lower onto upper.
Correct any firment issues before attempting to force takedown pins through
receiver. Make sure safety selector functions properly and charging handle clears
buffer tower and operates smoothly.
