A Peek at our Month
Upcoming Dates Reading
October 2- 6 WHS Homecoming Dress Up In Reading, students will complete their first Reading
Days (flier attached in email) Assessment Prep to start working on strategies for test taking
in preparation for the SD Assessments in the spring. Students
October 4 - Walk/Bike to School will use their schema to articulate how we think about a

topic. Next we will change those statements into questions to

Spelling Writing
Week 5 Spelling Test - October 6 The focus for our writing for October is fiction stories. Part
