Rear Cab Cover Installation

1954-60 Dodge Truck


Kit includes:
Rear Cab Cover Panels
Left/Right/Center
2 Wood Spacers 2”X12”
6 Mounting Buttons.

Tools you will need:


Electric Drill with 1/4 or 5/16 drill bit
Screw Driver
Xacto type knife
1/4 X 20 machine screws (or similar)
Liquid Nail tube adhesive

Install the Rear Cab Cover panels in


the following order.

1--Wood Spacers--Install the wood
spacer into the corner of the rear cab
as illustrated--glue in place.

2--Rear Quarter Panels-- Slide rear

screw (A) to hold it in position

Using mounting hole (B and C) as a guide, drill a 1/4” hole into the lip of the horizontal steel support. Be care-
full not to drill into the skin of the cab. Temporarily insert a machine screw to hold the panel in position.

Repeat the installation process on the Driver’s side rear quarter.

Insert a mounting button into the hole you drilled at location “B”.

3--Center Rear Cab Cover Panel--The Center Rear Cab cover is installed last and it overlaps the edges of the
rear quarter panels.

Remove the machine screws from the “A” location and line up the holes in the top edge of the center panel with
the top inner holes of the quarter panels.

Insert a mounting button into the hole you drilled at location “A”.

When you are satisfied with the fit of the panels you have installed, remove the machine screws one by
one and replace with the plastic mounting buttons provided in this kit.
