Grade 10 – Saint Ignatius Of Loyola

Reaction Paper (1st Day)

After 2 years of being in a quarantine, Saint Louis School has started again in face to face
classes. During the 2 years we have been suffered in online learning classes. Now that SLS is
starting to open again for the Face to Face Classes, We Louisians are ready to learn more again.
We Louisians are ready to do a lot of fun things in school. Saint Louis School continues to
nurture the culture of excellence within every Louisian student. On March 15, 2023, we
Louisians did celebrate the first day of the 88th Founding Anniversary. The commitment to
teaching goes hand in hand with the students' desire to learn, and as we celebrate a new
beginning with battles won and even bigger difficulties ahead, we fearlessly march forth, hoping
that the young students will follow. Before we start the actual celebration, we gather on the
ground to form our line for the parade. It was tiring and exhausting, but it was worth it because,
after how many years of lockdown we already experienced it again. and it was also fun on the
parade while taking pictures with your friends, classmates and teachers. Walking and having a
little talk, little laugh and smiling very widely with my friends, classmates and teachers.
Students from all school levels displayed their magnificent dance performances during
the 88th Foundation Anniversary of Saint Louis School, demonstrating Louisian talent. We
Louisians are captivating, imaginative, and fascinating in every way. Preschool learners, in their
Minion-inspired dance performance, were the first to perform. Followed by G-8 students, G-7,
G-9, G-3-4, G-1, G-11, and G-12, and last but not least, the G10 students. All of their
performances are fascinating, even though I didn't watch them all because we need to fix our
formation because we are the next performer. Luckily, it is live on the SLS page for me to watch
it every time I want to. After our successful performance, we got the chance to take a group
picture with all of my classmates. In the afternoon, we were given a chance to watch the talent
competition of our Mr. and Mrs. campus personalities. All of the participants did great, even
though there were some mistakes. Me and my classmate enjoyed watching their different talents
and cheering on our favorites. Even if they made mistakes while doing their talent, like I said
earlier, that didn't affect the contestant; perhaps she didn't stop and kept going on with what she
was doing.
Therefore, they should start earlier so that the students can go home. Also, if the child
wants to go home already after their performance, that should be allowed because we don't know
if there's an emergency in their house. But all in all, the first day was great because we
experienced this again after 2 years of online classes. Even if we had to walk far away from our
campus for the parade, it was still nice because the parade was full of laughter and chitchat from
the students. We are also grateful to have the CAT guide us in the parade and be there if
something happens.

Reflection Paper
LITURGY OF THE WORD
READING: Jeremiah 7:23-28
PSALM: If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
GOSPEL: Luke 11:14-23
HOMILY: Rev. Fr. Romulo C. Felix
Thursday of Week 3 of Lent-First Reading
Commentary on Jeremiah 7:23-28
The last line of the Gospel, "The one that is not with me scatters," highlights the topic of
today's readings. God’s people, according to Jeremiah, do not pay attention to his warnings. The
agreement stated: When you obey my voice, I will become your God and you will become my
people. You will succeed if you stick to the path I have laid out for you. Jeremiah claims that
despite the fact that several messengers and prophets were dispatched to address the people, that
is not what actually transpired. They refused to look at me and looked away, acting according to
the dictates of their own bad hearts. Nothing can persuade someone to believe when they don't
want to, as Jesus' interaction with the Pharisees in the today's gospel illustrates. They won't
accept the goodness that is right in front of them. We are not here to pass judgment on our
founders. Readings like this one are meant to assist us in looking inside of ourselves.
The gospel of today is just another example of how much God cares for those who suffer
from all kinds of illnesses, including being devil. Jesus is determined to assist the suffering
individual, despite the fact that he could be criticized for his actions and possibly have the source
of his power questioned. Perhaps this is what the gospel is asking us to consider—our resolve to
perform good deeds and assist people in need in spite of all the obstacles in our path. Jesus
encourages us to be committed to following his teachings, even if it means facing criticism for
the good deeds we carry out such as providing free instruction to troubled or constitution youth,
providing free medical care to those in need, and volunteering our time outside of regular
business hours. Are we prepared to decide to act with enthusiasm for others in the shares
information?

Reaction Paper (2nd Day)
In morning, the GRADE 10 students have a CAT CEREMONIAL PARADE, SLS CAT
CEREMONIAL PARADE is a military ritual that involves the formation and parading of soldier
units and, frequently, a salute before the flag is lowered at the end of the day. For me, the CAT
CEREMONIAL PARADE is difficult but it is still enjoyable because the efforts of us the Grade
10 Students that we finished even though it is not perfect. A lot of us are have find it hard when
we are still practicing, but the it is still worth it, our blood, sweat, and tears. CAT is just like a
LOVE because if you work hard, the final result is Happiness. In success there is a failure, but if
you succeed without a fail it is not a success. During the CAT CEREMONIAL many CAT
Privates got dizzy, collapsed and even the CAT Officers. After the speaker is done talking, we did
the “pasamasid” and its not perfect but it was a successful. In the CAT Battalion, there are ranks
"core and staff," led by Cadet Colonel Bangloy, Dren Mariene and his staff, Lieutenant Colonel
Framil John Leo, S1 Major Caddawan, S2 Major Cadiz, S3 Major Rivera, S4 Major Gawan, S5
Major Andal, S6 Major Cabauatan, and S7 Major Rosendo.
The ceremonial parade is one of the joys and challenges for the CAT officers because it
depends on the audience to see if us privates can keep up or not. But during the performance, we
saw the improvement that they can say was worth all of their hard work. There were two officers
who were dizzy. We saw their hardwork and the audiences can’t say that it was perfect but at
least the result was successful.

For me, our performance was great, it is also good that there are medic in case of
accident. Just like what I have said earlier there are two officers that got dizzy because of
tiredness. The majorette is also good and have a successful performance just like the us CAT.
There also special guest that were able to come even if their schedule are busy.
And in the afternoon, we gather to play a game of friendship for everyone's enjoyment. That
afternoon I slept a little because of the tiredness I feel earlier, but after that I watched the other
louisians having fun and playing some games.

Reaction Paper (3rd Day)
March 17, 2023 was the last day of our foundation, and this is also the saddest day for
some and the happiest day for others. We were required to bring our own parents during this day
for the symposium, but we are all aware that not all of us have our parents by our sides because
some of our parents are in the office or are OFWs. That's why some of their parents were not
able to attend this family day or symposium. For me, it is important to attend this symposium
with our parents to know what the children feel, and they can also use this time to bond with
their parents.
In the morning, we attend the symposium with our parents, we learned about the woman
rights, respecting each other also a man too, and the importance of sexuality and rapes. The
Police Officer had given us some tips on how to prevent or avoid rapes. We were also given the
chance to ask about something related to the topic. Lots of students asked a question while the
speaker answered it patiently and meaningfully. After this symposium, we learned a lot, and
another piece of knowledge was unlocked. We were grateful to listen to their lecture because,
because of it, I am already more aware of my surroundings. After hearing the words of the
speaker or the speech of the speaker, I learned a lot the speaker had given an Article for more
information for us.
In the afternoon, we watch the battle of our search for Mr. and Mrs. campus personalities
and are shocked at how strong their cheer is for every candidate. I am also amazed at their
national costume because of how very Filipino it looks. Each candidate has this different aura, so
some of them are sweet, gracious, strong, and classy. However, I am quite dissatisfied with the
formal dress of girls because it looks plain, unlike the boys, who look formal yet classy.
However, they should start the period earlier so that the student can go home earlier. The
students start late because not all students live near the school. In addition, they also fix the
speaker so that when the candidate is speaking, we can hear it clearly. Also, the candidate and
host should speak loudly, knowing how loaded the question was. And they should check
everything to see if it is okay, unlike what happened before, when the candidates needed to dance
again because something had gone wrong at some point. We actually enjoyed the 88th Founding
Anniversary of our school, and we are looking forward to another foundation day to enjoy it and
I hope they will agree again to bring back the Intramurals.
