My name is I ekhar Aziz.

I graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in


Mechanical Engineering in 2009. I have more than 10 years Job experience in various mul na onal
companies. A er gradua on I started my career in Avery Dennison Bangladesh as Management Trainee.
Avery Dennison is the Global Leader in Pressure Sensi ve materials. In Bangladesh Avery Dennison
manufactures Garments Labels and support the renowned Brands and their Factories. A er the
comple on of the program, I was assigned as Technical Specialist for two of the Produc on Departments
for South Asia regions providing support to Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. I also worked in
Turkey, Vietnam, China and Indonesia from me to me. Next, I was relocated in Karachi, Pakistan to
work in Manufacturing Func ons. A er five years of services in Avery Dennison, I le the organiza on
and Joined in a Sri Lanka based Garment Company named Brandix Casual Wear and worked in both Sri
Lanka and Bangladesh Factories to implement Lean Manufacturing Concepts. Later, I joined in Coca-Cola
Bangladesh as Opera onal Excellence Manager and worked for efficiency Improvement projects in
Bangladesh and India. Then I joined in a Garments Company named Talisman LTD as AGM, Opera ons
where I was responsible for End to End standard process development. Three years a er leaving the
Avery Dennison, I re-joined in Avery Dennison as Manager, Capacity Planning under the Supply Chain
Department having a team of 2 members. Currently, I am working as Head of Supply Chain for more than
2 years. My major job responsibili es are Capacity Planning, Demand Forecas ng, Material Planning,
Material Purchase and Inventory Management. I am also responsible to conduct Sales and Opera ons
Planning (S&Op). Besides, I work with Bangladesh Leader Ship Team to Lead and Par cipate various cross
func onal projects to reduce costs and improve profitability of the organiza ons.

I have strong capability of delivering results with data driven ac on plans and working with cross
func onal teams.

As I am heavily involved with various projects for the organiza on, some which are related to Cost
Control Ac ons, some of them are related to future business growth. Thus, I believe, I need to have skill
to understand the business be er, especially, how the HR Func ons work, how Finance team is looking
at the future in terms of achieving the goals, how marke ng team is developing their strategies. I am
learning these skills while working with the business leaders, at the same me, I believe with a strong
academic background I can broaden my perspec ves and will be more resourceful and successful in the
organiza on.

I desired to be the Managing Director of the company within next 10 years. Another choice would be
leading the Supply Chain organiza on for the En re Asia/Europe region.
