8 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATONS

This work section comprises:

(i) Installation of all work within internal and external

faces of building, up to and including distribution boards,
cables, light fittings, airconditioners, extractor fans, fire
alarms, closed circuit television and communication
installations together with associated wiring, conduiting
and wall switches. (ii) The description of
the measured items are not necessarily fully
comprehensive but are intended to indicate the particular
item of work concerned. The price for the works allow
for conduits, wiring, earthing connection etc. to ensure
that the Electrical Installation functions in such a manner
as to satisfy all the statutory, regulations of Nigeria and
the relevant local government institutions and
professional bodies.
(iii) The rates set against each items are to be for
materials or good manufactured, tested, insurred and
delivered to site, connected up, pointed and put into
commission.
