Hello class, today we are going to do an oral presentation about Australia

Firstly, im gonna talk about its history, then we are going to talk about some general
information and last, our opinion

Humans are thought to have arrived in Australia about 30,000 years ago but the the local
population decreased due to the diseases brought by the Europeans when the period of
European discovery and settlement began.

Transportation of convicts eventually brought a total of about 160,000 prisoners to Australia

which resulted in 4 million Australians being descÉndants of this prisoners who arrived from
the United Kingdom.

Moving on to some general information, the current autralian population is about 26 million
people but as you can see in this picture, 85 per cent of Australians live on the coast.

When talking about its geographic location, Australia is located in Oceania between the Indian
and South Pacific Oceans.

In our opinion, when visiting Australia, its essencial to visit Lake Hillier, wich has this pink tone
and its beautiful, the Great Barrier Reef wich is one of the largest living structures on the
planet and enjoy a performance on the Sidney opera house.

Australia Day- Australia Day wich marks the landing of the First Fleet at Sydney Cove

Anzac day- Anzac Day is used to commemorate the lives of Australians

who died in the war.
