Interview Led by Chineta Job 42:7-17
The central theme of Job allows us to see the stark contrast between the Job of the prologue
and the Job of the epilogue. In the epilogue, Job embarks on his new life with a profound
sense of what it means to live within in the limits of human wisdom. In doing so, he helps us
to understand what faith is. It is not having all the answers or working out a deal with God
based upon good behavior. It is an act of courage and trust that invites us to surrender to the
will of God over and over again.
