READY KID!

Equipped with protective gear and a go-bag, Ready Kid is set to serve as the
face of resilience among young Filipinos who are prepared to face the challenges of
natural and human-induced hazards.

Ready Kid Social champions the social sector, the same with how his parents’
Ma. Lulu E. Social and Carlito Uy Social defended social justice, a vital pursuit aimed at
addressing systemic inequalities and promoting fairness, equity, and inclusivity in
society.

Ready Kid emphasizes that for the GO BAG to come in handy during
emergencies, it should contain the following: food and water, personal needs, clothing,
safety supplies, communication tools like battery operated radio, cash, and list of
important phone numbers.

Ready Kid advocates for preparedness and resilience which are paramount in
navigating life's challenges. Preparedness involves proactive planning, risk assessment,
and resource allocation, allowing for efficient responses to crises, reducing their
severity, and preventing their occurrence when possible. Resilience, on the other hand,
is the ability to bounce back from adversity, adapt to changing circumstances, and
recover with strength. In an unpredictable world, these qualities are indispensable. They
minimize downtime, mitigate risks, and optimize resource use, ensuring that individuals,
communities, and organizations can weather storms without losing their bearings.

Incorporating preparedness and resilience into regional development plan is

crucial for ensuring sustainable and robust growth while safeguarding a region's ability
to withstand various challenges. It not only safeguards a country's progress but also
positions it to thrive in an increasingly uncertain world. Preparedness and resilience are
investments in the future that help ensure a nation's ability to endure and adapt in the
face of a wide range of challenges.
