Who is the author/creator of the ad? What is the ad saying? What is the call to action?
● The first Ad is from But First Coffee Macabling Sta. Rosa. The Ad might be
mainly targeting coffee lovers near the area of Sta. Rosa or those who
specifically look for their brand BFC. Moreover, the Ad’s call to action is to buy
coffee and to order now by convincing them that you can get yours for as low as
60 pesos.
● The second Ad is from Clip Studio Paint and is targeting digital artists. The Ad is
a video that promotes what you can do with CSP and is captioned with the
phrase “Free Trial” which is also their main selling point. They’re calling artists to
learn more about CSP through the button which is their main call to action which
should eventually lead to the idea that they should try it out.
● The last Ad is from NUAKH Cliffhouse which is a coffee shop. This ad targets to
attract customers from the south or coffee shop hunters by showcasing their view
and the place itself. Its main call to action is for customers to visit their coffee
shop.

Based on our discussed topic, identify and explain what is the purpose of this ad?
● First Ad’s purpose is to persuade and offer them into buying coffee by
showcasing the phrase “For as Low as P60”

● Second Ad’s purpose is to inform and offer artists what the software can do and
by convincing them to try it out with their free trial.
● Last Ad’s purpose is to persuade and inform coffee enthusiasts that they exist
and the coffee shop is a good place.

Who do you see this ad for? What is the type of person (age, gender, occupation,
status, etc) are they reaching out to
● As mentioned, the first ad is targeted to fans of But First Coffee Brand, Coffee
Enthusiasts, and to people near Sta. Rosa, who is looking for a coffee shop.
Moreover, they are targeting individuals who want affordable coffee too.
● Second Ad is targeting digital artists who are looking for new softwares or just
generally creators of digital art. They aim to sell the product to individuals who
are seeking out softwares are worth subscribing for.
● Last Ad is also targeted to coffee enthusiasts; however, the target is not to really
sell coffee but rather the place as a good spot in the south.

A. What creative problem around you are you seeing that could be a potential business
endeavor?

A lot of busy people tend to find caffeine the first thing in the morning after
waking up or when rushing to work. Others find it difficult to prepare coffee or find
one along the way due to many reasons like traffic and such.

B. Can you describe the effect of that creative problem?

With the lack of time, busy individuals who long for caffeine tend to find it difficult
in finding nearby coffee shops that suit their needs with coffee. Others prefer their coffee
strong, others prefer it sweet, others prefer it cheap, but how can you look for all of it in
a short amount of time? Some individuals just tend to either buy a coffee they don’t
really prefer or just not buy at all.

C. Who are the people “suffering” from that creative problem? Answer this by using the
“4 Target Markets” found in our BBL Week 5 folder. Simply identify the obvious or given.

The target market would fall under the demographics of college students and working
individuals which would range from individuals aging 20 and above. These groups of
people work a lot on many tasks and are usually either rushing off to class or an
important meeting with work. These people also involve coffee a lot in their daily routine
when working on tasks or academics. Some of these students or working individuals
also prefer to buy coffee that is suitable to their liking, while others just go grab
something along the way.

D. What creative solution are you seeing to address the problem; and how will it
become a business endeavor that you can keep in the long run?

An application that provides coffee enthusiasts the urgency they need when craving
that sip of caffeine. They can download this for free too. CO & ME. is short for "Coffee
and Me." It is a free application that guides individuals in helping them look for the right
coffee tailored fit just for them.
CO & ME. has three main functions.

● To help individuals locate coffee shops within the vicinity of both local and
international brands. The application also lets you know whether a coffee shop is
good for work, socializing, or dining in.
● To guide individuals in understanding their preference for coffee The profile
section provides tons of selections with customizing the right coffee shops to
appear on your home screen.)
● To build a community of coffee lovers and to help local coffee shops build their
careers in the scene.

E. If given the opportunity to take action to this, what are the steps you are seeing to
make this happen?

Look for a team of people, plan out the customer or consumer journey of the app, and
to develop the app as a prototype. Market research is also necessary in pursuing the

generation.
