3.3 SOLAR PANEL
3.4 EMS SMART SYSTEM

Energy management systems have both hardware and software components. At the heart of an EMS is the energy
management system controller. Physically installed on site, the EMS controller is a device that maintains communication
with the DERs and collects data on their operation. Data is fed into cloud-based software, which processes information in
real time and continually optimizes the DERs based on how much energy is being generated and consumed at the facility.
Historical data is also stored in the cloud and made available for reporting purposes.

An EMS controls and optimizes DERs to maximize energy

savings. For example, EMS software coordinates the
storage of surplus solar energy during the day to power
building loads in the early evening hours, when utilities
tend to charge the most for electricity due to increased
customer demand on the grid. By using stored energy in
this way — a cost-saving strategy called time-of-use
arbitrage — a business is able to shave its monthly utility
bills while also easing its reliance on harmful fossil fuels.
4. Packaging and transportation
4.1 Inverter packaging
Inverters are independently packed in wooden cases, with a weight of about 600 ~ 2300kg and a volume of about 1.4~3.9m³
(depending on the type of inverter used). Forklifts are used to lift the wooden pallet and load the truck.

4.2 Battery module packaging

The battery modules are packed in wooden cases. Each wooden case contains 4 battery modules with a weight of about 400Kg
and a single volume of about 0.55m³. Forklift lifts the bottom wooden pallet to load the truck for transportation.

4.3 Solar panel packaging

The solar panel is packed with pallet, 31 pieces/pallet, the weight is about 900kg, the volume is about 3.5³, and the wooden pallet is
also used to lift the truck for transportation.
5. Notes
5.1 Operation and maintenance
When the battery capacity is less than or equal to the designed capacity, you are advised to stop using the battery and shut down the entire
device.

The system design takes into account the heat dissipation, waterproof and dustproof problems of the equipment, and meets the waterproof and
dustproof levels stipulated by relevant national standards.

Under any normal conditions of use, the temperature of the equipment shall not exceed the maximum set temperature limit.

Do not charge or discharge the device with more current than required by the specification.

Avoid mechanical vibration impact and pressure impact on the device; otherwise, the device may be short-circuited, resulting in high
temperature or safety risks.

Do not short circuit or overcharge the positive and negative terminals of the device. Otherwise, the strong current and high temperature may
cause personal injury or security risks.

Avoid battery overdischarge. When the battery voltage is lower than 2.3V, the inside of the battery may be permanently damaged.

When the electrolyte leaks, avoid skin and eye contact with the electrolyte. If there is contact, flush the contact area with plenty of water and
seek help from a doctor. No person or animal is allowed to ingest any part of the battery or any substance contained in the battery.

If there are foreign objects or stains in the positive and negative electrodes of the battery, wipe them clean with a dry towel before use.
Otherwise, the battery may have poor contact, causing heat, resulting in serious safety risks.

Do not insert debris into any part of the battery pack.

Any device should be connected after a relay controlled by BMS, and no device should be allowed to draw power directly from the lithium battery
without BMS control.

Battery storage at 10%SOC should not exceed one month, battery storage at 20%SOC should not exceed two months, battery storage at
40%SOC should not exceed six months, be sure to carry out full discharge testing every three months.

When the energy storage battery cluster is stored, the battery cluster should be stored at 30%-50% of the charged state.

When the battery cluster is not used for a long time, it must be fully filled every three months or so, otherwise the user will lose the right to
warranty.

The battery cluster must be operated by professionals and qualified personnel during operation or maintenance.

5.2 Installation and debugging

During the installation process, the system must be operated by professionals and must comply with the relevant regulations of the local or
power industry.

Pay attention to the positive and negative electrodes. Do not reverse connect the positive and negative electrodes to avoid short circuit.

The system is DC high voltage, except professional personnel, without permission, other personnel should stay away, and must not touch or
operate.

The initial capacity of the battery cluster is 30%-50%. When using the battery cluster for the first time, fully charge the battery before using it.

System in use, should be away from fire, heat and water sources, if the battery leaks or emit odor, should immediately stop use, and timely
notify the relevant personnel to deal with.

Do not Pierce the battery pack shell with nails or other sharp objects, and do not hammer, step, or pressure the battery pack.

System related devices, battery clusters, battery modules and batteries shall not be disassembled in any way.

When the system is running, if any peculiar smell or abnormal phenomenon occurs, power off the power immediately and inform relevant
personnel for handling.

During the storage process, ensure that no external device takes power from the lithium battery to prevent overdischarge.
5.3 Transport and storage

If the battery is expected to be stored for more than 30 days, the SOC should be adjusted to 40%±10%, and a full charge and discharge must be
carried out every three months.

The equipment should be stored in a cool and dry place.

Protective measures such as dust and rain should be taken during transportation, and the goods should be placed and fixed to prevent impact
and scattering.

You are advised to use a forklift truck to load and unload the cargo.

In accordance with the requirements of the packaging label, do not rain, exposure, flipping, trampling, etc.

Storage environment temperature should be between -30℃~45℃, humidity should be 5% ~ 95%, no condensation.

System related devices, battery clusters, battery modules and batteries shall not be disassembled in any way.

When unloading and storing with packaging, pay attention to the sequence of product numbers. It is recommended to store them in a
centralized manner according to the number for easy installation.

Please check and accept the goods immediately after arrival.

6. Working mode
Working mode (PCS)
grid online

1. Backup mode: PV power + grid power ≥ load power, grid charging power can be set, corresponding to grid chargingcut-offSOC. Note: If the charging
cut-off SOC is 95%, and the grid is charged to 95% to stop charging, the systemneeds tobeabletojudge whether the grid is charging or the PV is charging. If
the grid is charging, the charging cut-off SOCwill work. If thePVis charging, then Under this condition, the PV power must be greater than the load power.
For example, the load power is20KW, the PV power is 30KW, and the battery charging power is 30KW. When the real-time SOC reaches the chargingcut-
offSOC set point, the grid stops charging, and the redundant PV continue to charge the battery until the charging cut-off SOC.

2. Standard Mode:
PV power > load power, photovoltaic load, and charge the battery;Photovoltaic power < load power, photovoltaic andbatteryload together until the battery
discharges to the discharge cut-off SOC, and then the grid takes over the load. In this mode, thegrid does not charge the battery, but it needs to maintain the
SOC at the discharge cut-off SOC.

3. Schedule

Level 1 Settings: Low Season and High Season Secondary settings: month corresponding to off-season and month correspondingto peak season Three-
level settings: weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays Four-level settings: peak period, valley period, flat periodThepeak period corresponds to the micro-grid mode,
the valley period corresponds to the backup mode, and the battery does not
charge or discharge during the normal period

Grid offline

Photovoltaic power > load power, photovoltaic load, and charge the battery; PV power < load power, photovoltaic andbatteryload together until the battery is
discharged to the oil generator to start SOC, then the generator supplies power to the load, thefunction of generator charging the battery can be set, the
charging power can be set, the oil generator charges the batterytoThe oil generator turns off the SOC. Under the consideration of the SOC, the conditions
for starting and shutting downtheoilgenerator should also include a one-button start and stop function, that is, the remote server can send commands
tothegenerator to start or shut down. Note: After the DG starts, the mode is displayed as DG Online.
