Hawkmail is your university email. It is important that you
check this email every day.

Not checking your email in a timely manner may lead

to fees, late work, and holds on your account.
How to Activate Hawkmail
1. Choose HAWKMAIL from the My UHart drop-down menu or click
this link
2. Enter the email provided by the university
username@hartford.edu
3. Click NEXT
4. The password is your Student ID number
5. Click SIGN IN

What is Student Self-Service?
Use self-service to:

register for classes

check your class schedule
check your final grades
order transcripts
pay your bill
purchase tickets to events and much more!
How to sign into Self-Service:
1. Choose SELF-SERVICE from the My Uhart drop-down menu
2. Your username is your full Hartford email address

3. Check your Hawkmail for your PIN
4. Click LOGIN

In Self-Service, Agree to Consent Form
Before we can register for classes, you must agree to the University of Hartford’s Course
Registration Financial Agreement, Disclosure Statement, and Electronic Consent Form.

In SELF-SERVICE (see slide 8)

1. Click on the Student tab
2. Click on Registration
3. Click on Add/Drop Class
4. For Select a Term, choose the upcoming semester, click Submit
5. When you finish reading the consent form, click the box next to Accept Electronic
Consent Form
6. Click Submit

Before you Begin
• Be sure you have been assigned a University of Hartford Blackboard user account.
• Your mobile device needs one of these operating systems to run the Blackboard
• Apple iOS 9.0+
• Android 4.2+

Directions
1. Install the Blackboard app using Apple Store or Google Play Store.
2. Open the Blackboard app and search for University of Hartford.
3. Log-in with your University of Hartford Blackboard username and password.
– Username: first part of your email address
(without @hartford.edu)
– Password: last four digits of your University ID
(unless you have changed your password).
