❖ Course Requirements
1. NSTP-CWTS shall follow the guidelines for
attendance in the regular academic course. This
means that for weekday classes and special
required activities (Symposium, Forum,
Trainings, Community Exposure, Alay Lakad,
Coastal Clean-Up, etc.), a student is allowed 7
absences, while for Wednesday and Saturday
classes, a maximum of 3.
2. All students should wear the CAS students’
uniform during class lectures and NSTP-CWTS
sanctioned activity to merit their attendance.
3. Athletes who are enrolled in NSTP-CWTS are
not exempted in the course. At the beginning of
the academic year, they make a special
arrangement with the NSTP Coordinator to what
type of program they need to follow. It is the
responsibility of the athletes to inform their NSTP
course professor about their special case and
submit to the concerned faculty their program
proposal. At the end of each semester, they need
to submit the requirements prescribed by the
professor.
4. Waiver forms should be submitted to the subject
professor if students will join special required
activities outside the school like Tree Planting,
Coastal Clean-up, etc. These will server as their
attendance for the event.
