(C6H12O6), and allowing the mixture to stand in the laboratory for a few days, as shown in the set-

been added? Explain your answer.

period.
(1) Suggest a reason for this.
(2) How can a more concentrated solution of ethanol be obtained from the mixture in the

(iv) In some agricultural countries, ethanol mixed with petrol is often used as a fuel for motor
