affects the central nervous system. It can cause a wide
range of symptoms, from mild to severe, and can be
very disabling. In this presentation, we will discuss the

treatment, and how to raise awareness about this
condition.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an
autoimmune disease in which the
body's own immune system attacks
the protective covering around the
nerves of the brain and spinal cord.
This damage can lead to a wide
range of physical, mental, and
emotional symptoms.

HOW FAST DOES MS
START?
MS typically starts with mild symptoms that can
develop abruptly within hours. Symptoms may
include numbness on one side of the face, body or
extremities (arms and legs), blurred vision, pain,
fatigue, weakness, and problems with thinking and
learning.
