C. Answer the following questions:

1. What are the subject and content of your advocacy painting?

The subject of my advocacy painting revolves around the environmental impact of
pollution. It visually presents a contrast between the beauty of untouched nature on one side and
the harsh reality of pollution on the other, symbolized by a curtain. The intention is to raise
awareness and create a sense of urgency through this visual storytelling. The pristine natural
landscape serves as a reminder of what's at stake, while the revealed pollution emphasizes the
need for collective action to address the consequences of human activities on our ecosystems.
The painting acts as a call to action, encouraging viewers to reflect on their role in preserving the
well-being of our planet, both individually and collectively.

2. What made you decide to come up with that said subject in your painting?
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) encompass a diverse array of objectives
aimed at benefiting our planet. Within this comprehensive framework, I chose to direct attention
towards a widely acknowledged goal that often remains overlooked. Hence, I opted to illustrate
the current state of affairs, essentially covering or concealing the reality of our actions and their
impact on the environment. Although the painting may seem straightforward in its composition, its
underlying significance serves as a stark reality check, shedding light on the hidden aspects of
pollution that persist beneath the surface, unbeknownst to the world.

3. What are the different elements and principles of art that you used in your painting?
In the development of my advocacy painting, I intentionally integrated the use of different
elements through the use of distinct lines, a deliberate color palette, carefully considered shapes,
spatial relationships, and texture, I crafted a visually compelling composition. I intentionally
integrated the dynamic element of movement, as a dynamic feature within the composition. This
strategic use of movement primarily manifests in the portrayal of the curtain, a central visual
component of the artwork. The curtain being pulled back is infused with a sense of action, creating
a dynamic and engaging quality that unfolds a narrative within the painting. This deliberate
incorporation of movement contributes to a more immersive and emotionally resonant experience,
inviting viewers to actively engage with the unfolding story, as if witnessing the revelation of the
hidden truth behind pollution in real-time. The inclusion of movement adds a dynamic and lively
aspect to the static imagery, enhancing the overall impact of the painting.
