B. Description of Course

This course aims to prepare students’ interactions as pre service teachers in teaching English as foreign language for young learners in Islamic settings

C. Learning Outcomes

After following and having skills in this course, students are expected to:
1. understand theories and concepts of teaching English as foreign language comprehensively for young learners in Islamic settings (cognitive)
2. analyse the challenges (strenghths and weaknesses) of teaching English as foreign language for young learners in Islamic settings (affective)
3. apply English teaching methods for young learners in Islamic settings (psychomotor)
4. Choose English teaching methods for young learners in Islamic settings related to the challenges (literacy)
5. integrate Islamic values in teaching English as foreign language for young learners in Islamic settings (experience)
