Although having a job has a plenty of benefits, it has a lot of drawbacks when
students are still in high school. Firstly, if they have a job when they are still
in school, they will not have enough time for their activities. For example, they
spent most of their time studying at school and working so a reasonable time to do
their homework or relax is evening. When many students don’t have enough strength,
they will experience insomnia as a consequence, they will be exhausted and the
negative effects will appear in their academy results . So they will not obtain
their ambition. Secondly, they are more likely to use drugs and alcohol. As a
research suggests taht subtance abuse is higher for students who work approximately
20 hours per week. Thirdly, because of having more money to satisfy their life like
shopping, they can be atracted by anything which helps them to get high income.
Nowadays, there are a lot of text advertising light job with high salary but that
is not true. Because they are student, they don’t have experiences to know that is
flaudulent, they can be cheated more money than getting high income as advertised.
Furthermore, they also can be used to do bad things that lead them to commit a
crime. For these reasons, there are a lot of disadvantages of having a job when
students when we are still in high schools
