‫سورة الليل‬
( The Night )
 ٰ َ ‫َو الل ْي ِل ِإ َذا َي ْغ‬ َ  َ
َ ّ َ َ  َ
‫إ َذماا  َخل ٰ َق‬
ِ ِ ‫ال ِار‬
‫ِومن‬

 ‫َو َما َخل ََق ال َّذكَ َر َو ْاألُنث َٰى‬
Sahih International

And [by] He who created the male and female,

ٰ 
‫­ لش‬ ‫ِإن سعي‬
Sahih International

Indeed, your efforts are diverse.

ƒٰ
‫فأ ما َم ْن أ ْع ٰ َوات‬ ‫َو َص َّد َق بِالْ ُح ْس َن ٰى‬
Sahih International Sahih International

As for he who gives and fears Allah And believes in the best [reward],

 ُ ِّ ‫َف َس ُن َي‬
َ ْ ‫‹ ُه ِل ْل ُي‬
‫‹ ٰى‬
Sahih International

We will ease him toward ease.

ْ َ َ َ
ٰ َ ‫َوأ ما َمن  ِ ل َو ْاس َتغ‬
Sahih International

But as for he who withholds and

considers himself free of need

 ْ َ
ٰ َ ‫َوكذ َب ِ• ُ” ْس‬
Sahih International

And denies the best [reward],

ُ ِّ ‫َف َس ُن َي‬
َ ْ ‫‹ ُه ِل ْل ُع‬
‫‹ ٰى‬
Sahih International

We will ease him toward difficulty.

‫ا› ِإذا
َ َš د ٰى‬‫وما يغ ِ Ÿ عنه م‬
Sahih International

And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?

‫ِإن َعل ْي َنا لل ُه َد ٰى‬ ٰ َ ُ‫َوإِ َّن لَ َنا لـ َ ْآل ِخ َر َة َو ْاأل‬
‫وىل‬
Sahih International Sahih International

Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance. And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and
the first [life].

ٰ  ‫­ َ• ًرا َتل‬
Sahih International

So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing.

Sahih International

None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one.

Sahih International

Who had denied and turned away.

َ ْ َ¦ ْ

‫َو َس ُي َج ن ُ َا ا§ت‬
Sahih International

But the righteous one will avoid it -

¯ٰ °َ َ
‫ا› َي‬‫ م‬±Ÿ ِ ‫ال ِذي يؤ‬
Sahih International

So woe to those who pray

ُ
ّ َ¦
‫َو َما ِ§ َح ٍد ِع َند ُه ِمن ِن ْع َم ٍة  ْ َز ٰى‬
Sahih International

And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him]

a favor to be rewarded

 َ َ¦ ْ َ  ٰ َ šْ Ÿ َ ‫َوَل َس ْو َف‬
ٰ ‫ِإ§ ْاب ِتغ َاء َو ْج ِه َر ِّب ِه ا§ ْع‬ ¸
Sahih International Sahih International

But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High. And he is going to be satisfied.
