The school is the second home of the students. Aside from

providing quality education, schools ensure the health and
security of the students inside the school premises. One of the
school’s responsibilities is to comply with the operations and
management of the school canteen (DepEd Order 08, s. 2007)
and the Enhanced Policies and Guidelines on Student Affairs and
Services (CMO no. 09, s. 2013). Canteen is where the students
buy food, drinks and meals while staying in the school. Every
canteen owes a duty of care to its customers, delivering high-
quality catering services through appropriate upkeep and
maintaining adequate sanitation. Moreover, it is dedicated to
making sure there is an open dialogue between the school,
canteen services between teachers, students, and canteen workers
to maintain healthy relationships.
The primary objective of the study is to determine the
quality of services offered by the school canteen and the
satisfaction of the students from the College of Teachers
Education. This study aims to evaluate the different major
dimensions of quality services affecting the student’s satisfaction
and will contribute to the improvement of the school canteen
services.

the College of Teachers Education students at the University of
Mindanao.

3. Methodo
logy

This study will use descriptive- correlational research design. The

descriptive research design will determine the level of the quality of
school canteen services and satisfaction of CTE students while the
correlational design will be used to determine the significant
relationship of the two variables. The data which are typically numeric
and collected through surveys.
