ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

The Matanos Elementary School Conducted Early Grades Reading Assessment (EGRA).The
participants of this activity are Grades 1 to3,the teachers conducted the said assessment to
identify their pupils reading level .The result was some of them belonged to the component 1,
which was letter name knowledge but most of them belonged to the component 2,letter sound
knowledge. Part of this activity the teachers can easily identify pupils in their particular domain
in which they failed to perform. The Matanos Elementary School Launced Itulay Project, Pabasa
sa Panimalay arun ang Pagbasa Matunhay. Additional reading time to those pupils evaluated of
having difficulties in reading .It started With identifying letter sound from grade one ,reading
CVC patterns to those developing readers.The materials were chart,flash cards and Big books.
Indeed, giving reading materials to the learners is a great help to enhance reading proficiency
level of Learners.
