The author mentions that everything that is separated from us must be classified as nature.
Nature represents the space, air, the sea, trees, etc. Therefore, Emerson wants to make us
understand that we must have a deeper connection with nature in order to achieve truth
and, above all, self-transcendence.

Nowadays modern humanity is losing the connection with nature and all this is leading to a
disenchanted life, so the author proposes that nature is a reflection of divinity and helping
the individual finding truth and purpose of life.

One of the very important points touched on this reading is that the individual has to find a
way to revive a connection through the admiration of natural beauty and the search for the
truth and harmony of nature. Therefore, each individual has a unique relationship with
nature and above all must seek the trust of their intuition and personal experience in order
to discover the truth.

From my point of view Emerson cares so much about the spirit of nature that he calls on all
of society to find a way to live a life in accordance with its principles and security. The author
wants to imply that by doing these actions can lead us find authenticity and fulfillment in
our lives.
