Delphi Car/LCV Diagnostic

Software 2012 Release 3
The latest update for the DS Series of Delphi diagnostic software
(PDA and PC based) including diesel Max Software was released
in December 2012.

Please find details below of the range of new applications and

functionalities included within this update.

Please Remember – the quickest way to access new

software as soon as it is launched is to download the
updates directly from the Delphi Service Operations website.

Update process change – Release 2 2011 onwards

For all PC based solutions (not DS100E), each new installation and/or software update will now have
to be validated online by the user.

This can be done directly via the DS tool if connected to the internet, or via USB memory stick from another
internet enabled PC. This process has been introduced to increase security.

Brand and Models are listed as in the CARS

and TRUCKS software.

The OBD functions that are listed are new or

updated for the marked system.

“YEAR MODEL UPDATE” means a complete

update of the year model, including OBD
functions.

Year range in model includes a complete

range for all systems with new or updated
functionality.

Systems with markers are new or updated

with read/erase fault codes, real time data
and/or activations.

Updated ISS (Intelligent System Scan)

This function scans through the entire vehicle's control systems quickly and easily, and presents
saved fault codes.

The result is presented in a list with the relevant systems. It is possible to erase the fault codes in
each system separately or all systems at once, or to go straight to the OBD functionality.
