positive, tangible results ranging from job creation, a positive impact on regional disparities and an
increase in GDP.

COHESION POLICY IN 2017-2013: CONCRETE RESULTS FOR IRELAND
Between 2007 and 2013, support from the European Regional Development
Fund amounted to EUR 375 million in Ireland.
Investments were mainly made in the areas of:

6 833 jobs created, most of them in SMEs and around 1 000
in research
8 315 projects to help firms finance investments
