You can park for free for the full day in the area which is marked by the yellow cross and then walk 50
meters to the skilift station; skipass office is on the road (red circle, Ufficio Skipass Alleghe, you can buy the
skipass the days before, so you do not queue and loose time); Ski – snowboard - ski boot rental is in the
green circle, Casa Alleghe, cheap and good, possible ski reparations and preparation too

good in quality and price level for every day needs in food or other, close to the hockey stadium, parking on
ground level close to the stadium and then elevator till the market level. Parking is for free if you do

Butcher's

Excellent place for meat and salami (traditional, deer and rod deer salami) and mostly for pastin, typical
local “hamburgher”. When I am in the area, I always but salami and pastin to bring home. Tested by

La Grande Guerra (for me No. 1)

If you stay in Alleghe, you cannot miss this… typical local Dolomites cooking with deer, polenta, pastin,
sometimes pizza too. It is compulsory to reserve in advance as really crowded, they do Apres Ski too. Tested

Pizzeria al Fornel

500 meters from your residence there is an excellent pizzeria, reservation is necessary, if you eat there, you
can also order pizza and go ther for take away. Tested by Leo and Laura *****

In front of the skilifts, local brewery with small kitchen too (pastin, sausages, pork shank). Food is not
excellent but hte bier os really good, at least to me, draft beer and possible to but bottles to take away

Places to see

The hockey stadium is open in the evening for ice skating. I do not know the tournament calendar buti t is
possible that there are some matches and the Civette (The Houls) are in first division. Possible to buy

The Queen of Dolomites, 20 minutes to reach (Malga Ciapela ground level ski cabin) possible to ski there

Skiing

You can have the standard skipass for Monte Civetta, which covers 72 kms of skiing. Another offer is for
superski (maybe one day) which allows Sellaronda Tour (see in the link), for expert skiers, trained people,
and with good weather as you must return to place from where you started before they close the skilifts…

The place is full of wonderful typical places where you can have a quick lunch for “refuelling” when skiing
