FAQs

1. I am a foodie! Can I be a part of Aroma?

Sorry but no, you won’t be selected into Aroma on the sole basis of being
a foodie. Even if you aren’t skilled at cooking, you must have a decent
knowledge of cuisines, cooking techniques, and culinary arts in general.

2. Will we get to cook?

Yes! Aroma conducts regular workshops, where you’ll get an opportunity


to cook with your friends, explore new cuisines, share your knowledge
with others , and taste delicious food!

3. What are the activities conducted by Aroma online?

Aroma has conducted two editions of an Pan-IIT Cooking Competition in


the summer, with students from as many as 15 IITs competing in various
categories. Entries were judged by prominent figures of the culinary
world, including celebrity chefs like . During the lockdown, we
conducted regular online workshops to keep our members engaged.

4. What are the activities conducted by Aroma offline?

Aroma conducts regular offline workshops where we share our


knowledge and cook together. Apart from that, there’s a host of fun filled
events coming up in the next semester.

5. What are the major events being organized by Aroma in the next
semester?

The spring semester 2022-23 is going to be jam-packed with events.


Aroma will host a food stall, and we’ll be launching our own Student Run
Café for the very first time!

6. When and where will the selections be held?


Selections will be held 27th November onwards, at V2 auditorium. Do
join in, to get a reprieve from mess food every now and then!
