This School Based Assessment is the requirement of the Caribbean Secondary Examination
Certificate it must follow legal stipulate guidelines in-order to complete this assessment. This

ANALYZING AND INTERPUTION OF DATA
FIGURE ONE: which is a bar graph and its showing the causes of child abuse around the
community twenty percent (20%) of the respondents said that lack of good parenting skill can
lead to child abuse, thirty five percent (35%) of them said that drug twenty-five percent of them
said poverty and the remaining ten percent(10%) said Alcoholism.
When comparing the data twenty percent (20%) said lack of good parenting skill resulted in
child abuse and ten percent (10%) of the residents said alcoholism many feel that persons fail to
protect and love their kid with adult responsibilities and their families to do some has resulted in
them abusing their kids secondly the highest of the residents said drug abuse compared to
poverty.
FIGURE TWO: which is a pie-chart and it is showing the effects of child-abuse fifty four
percent (54%) of the respondents said that child abuse can sometimes lead to suicide because the
kid or the person that is been abuse might think no-one loves or care for them thirty two percent
(32%) of the respondent said that child abuse can lead to dropping out of school because the kids
in school are bullying someone for their stuff and etc. lastly fourteen percent(14%) said financial
problem.
When comparing the data more person said that child-abuse can lead to suicide because
teenagers now are killing their self for anything persons might post sometimes about them on
social media and they don’t like it they feel that no one loves and care for them, secondly
dropping out of school they might feel insecure because the bigger student are bullying the
smaller one and they might just want to leave school. Lastly financial problem without money
they would not be able to provide their basic need.

in order to stop child abuse 6 of the respondents said put up poster main that you should inform
person about what’s happening in the community secondly 9 persons suggested that we should
charge all offenders meaning that parents who abuse their kids should be locked up and lastly 5
persons suggested that provide assistance will help the kids that are being abuse.
When comparing the data, most of the respondents said that charging offenders would be a better
solution to this problem and it would help to reduce the rate of child-abuse because persons
would never abuse their kids again, secondly put up poster so that person in the community
would be able to know the consequences and why they should not abuse their kids, Lastly
providing assistance the government and persons in the community should come together to save
kids that are being abuse.

There was once a girl and a boy who attends the same school. The girls name was Alana Singh
while the boy was Kevin Persaud both of them are in form five the girl was beautiful and
adorable and paid a lot of attention to her studies while the boy was handsome and he didn’t
really pays much attention to his work. Alana liked Kevin and he also liked her too, but both of
them didn’t want to talk one day they went to the beach on a family outing
And he proposed to her so both of them confess their feelings everything was going well in their
relationship hence they were the cutest couple then one day there was a new boy whose name
was Vivian Ramdass and as soon as Alana caught eyes on him they started to smile and look at
each other.

Kevin came to the location and touch Alana and said “what’s going on” she said “Nothing” then
Alana started to like Vivian and leaving Kevin like a fool Vivian liked Alana but just wanted to
play her but he said he is going to make Alana leave Kevin and love him
Kevin was shocked when he heard that that Alana has loved someone else Kevin and Vivian then
started to fight then in the end Vivian won, but Kevin told Alana don’t worry I will be back I will
win next time.
Kevin then realized that Alana doesn’t know what she want .so Kevin planned to kill Alana and
the hang himself. So he called Alana to a special place then he took the knife and stab her in her
stomach saying “if I can’t get you no one will” suddenly Alana die on spot while Kevin drank
poison and eventually both of them die. Vivian, police and more persons came to the spot to take
away the deceased persons. Vivian sat and cry to regret what he has done because he didn’t liked
Alana but he was pretending to and then dumped her. He said that he caused all this and then told
the police the truth. Vivian was sent to a boy school where underage boys go when they do
wrong things. Vivian was indeed sorry.

RANDY, walked up to Alana

ALANA- Hi randy
(Randy then went to purchase something at the canteen).
RANDY- Hi

(A group of fifth for student passes by).

RANDY- Do you want ice-cream?
ALANA- yes

but he lost everyone felt so sad for him he had love Alana and she deceived him he started
to cry and could not help it anymore]

me nobody else not even that brat ADDESH he decided to call her to a secret place then took a
knife and stab her in her heart}

MESHA- No I didn’t see her for the day I was just coming to ask you
ADDESH-no I don’t know where she I tried calling her but her phone has no service I text her
and got no response
[ He went around the school asking persons if they see her but they said no a couples minutes
later he got a news that someone was murdered when he got there he saw ASHO he was
devastated and didn’t know what to do he called the ambulance]
ADDESH- Hi I am calling to report a murder
OFFICER- What’s the report
ADDESH- Someone murdered my girlfriend
OFFICER- We will be there in a next 5 minutes with the ambulance
ADDESH-Alright thanks
(Addesh then went to Randy house to see what’s going on cause he don’t understand who could
have kill her when he got there he saw a bottle with poison in randy hand and randy was lying
down unconscious he couldn’t understand first it was Alana and now him what’s really
happening]
