Standard Warranty Policy

This policy outlines the Standard Warranty applicable to products manufactured by UNIVIC TRADING PVT LTD (UTPL). This policy is applicable on all products (unless otherwise specified)
and is effective till further notice. Subject to the Terms and Conditions and this Standard Warranty Policy (including exclusions, limitations and conditions stated therein), UTPL warrants to
Customer that Products will be free from Defects for the limited warranty period(s) expressed in years, as specified in Terms and Conditions (T&C) regarding Warranty Period agreed while
finalization of the order. For the purpose of this Standard Warranty, a “Defect” (or “Defective Product”) means that a Product has a defect in material or workmanship which causes the
Product to fail to operate in accordance with the specifications provided by UTPL, with consideration given to the overall performance of the Product.

Terms and Conditions in relation to the Standard Warranty are as under:

The obligations of UTPL under warranty will be limited, at the option of UTPL, to within a reasonable time; either provide a replacement product for the Defective Product, or to an
1 appropriate credit for the purchase price thereof. Replacements or remedies will not extend or renew the applicable Warranty Period. UTPL is entitled at its option to replace the
Defective Product(s) covered by warranty with a product that has minor deviations in design and/or specifications which do not affect the functionality of the Product.
In case of the defective product being out of warranty period or found to be in violation of terms and conditions of standard warranty policy, UTPL may charge for the reasonable

costs incurred by UTPL in relation to an alleged Defect or returned Product(s).
3 Warranty would commence from the date/month of manufacturing mentioned on each product marking.
4 If the date/month code marking on the defected product is not visible or has been tempered, UTPL would have discretionary powers to refuse warranty in such cases.
5 Warranty is applicable only when the product is used under standard conditions.
6 Warranty would become void if any component of the product is replaced / removed.
7 UTPL will have no obligations under this Standard Warranty if the alleged Defect is found to have occurred as a result of any of the following:
A. Natural calamities arising out of acts of GOD including but not limited to earthquake, lightning, hurricane, floods, typhoons and volcanic activities
B. Strikes, war, terrorism, political situation, civil unrest, riots, sabotage and vandalism
Electrical supply conditions, including supply spikes, over-voltage/under-voltage & ripple current control systems that are beyond the specified limits of those set or defined by

relevant supply standards for the Product.
D. Improper wiring, installation or maintenance of Products.
Being subject to extreme weather conditions, excessive heat, corrosive environments, excessive wear and tear, neglect, carelessness, accident, abuse, misuse, improper or abnormal

use of the Products.
F. Failure to use the Products for the purposes for which these have been designed.
G. Use of products in outdoor areas under direct water, rains, sunlight (Unless suitability specified on product packing).
H. Any attempt to repair, alteration or modification done by anyone apart from UTPL.
If any kind of Bends on the product body / broken diffuser, shall be UTPL responsibility to give the replacement incase master boxes are not damaged but product is damaged inside

the box at the time of arrival at client’s warehouse.
J. UTPL shall not be responsible for any kind of physical damage due to manhandling / transportation at client’s end.
K. Client must do insurance for the product during transportation from UTPL warehouse to Client’s warehouse.
WARRANTY COVERS ONLY ELECTRONICS PART (DRIVER / LED) FAILURE, TO CHANGE THE LED WE SHALL SEND THE MOUNTED PCB TO CLIENT & CAN BE REPLACED & DRIVER SHALL

BE REPLACED PC TO PC AFTER RECEIVING THE FAULTY DRIVERS.
8 UTPL may modify this Standard Warranty from time to time, and any modifications will be effective for all orders placed on or after the effective date of such modification.
9 Need to inform UTPL prior to dispatch along with picture of defective pcs & quantity.
10 Warranty crossed products will not be accepted.
11 Water wet product will not be accepted.
12 If we found in IQC more than 2% return of other make than, we will not accept the whole lot of material.
13 Warranty period shall be of 24 Months + 3 Months warranty.
14 Transportation charges will be borne by client if % is less than 5% of total quantity purchased.
15 UTPL shall borne transportation only if quantity is more than 5%.
16 Other parties good will be returned immediately without prior parties notice on “To Pay” basis.
