DECLARATION OF WRITTEN EXAMINATION RESULT (COMPUTER BASED
TEST) FOR RECRUITMENT ON VARIOUS GROUP-‘B’ & ‘C’ POST(S) IN BSF
WATER WING EXAMINATION 2023

The Written Examination (Computer Based Test) for recruitment on various

Group-‘B’ & ‘C’ Posts i.e. SI(Master), SKEnqine Driver), Sl(Workshop), HC(Master),
HC(Engine Driver), HC(Workshop) Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine), HC(Workshop)
Machinist and Constable (Crew) in BSF Water Wing Examination 2023 was
conducted across the nation on 06.08.2023.

2. Details of candidate(s) provisionally shortlisted based on marks secured by

them in Computer Based Test for calling to appear in 2nd Phase (PST, PET, Trade
Test, Documentation & Medical Examination) is attached herewith as Appendix-‘A’.
However, this shortlisting is restricted to six (06) times the number of vacancies
advertised or number of candidate(s) qualified.in Written Examination, whichever is
less.
3, As per detailed advertisement dated 10.02.2023, minimum qualifying marks
in Written Examination (Computer Based Test) in respect of candidate(s) belongs to
Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) & Other Backward Class
(OBC) is 35% and candidate(s) belongs to Scheduled Caste (SC) & Scheduled
Tribe (ST) is 33%. Based on cut off fixed by BSF, number of candidate(s)
shortlisted to appear in 2nd Phase is as follows:-

4. 2nd Phase (PST, PET, Trade Test, Documentation & Medical Examination)
will be conducted wef 30.10.2023 onwards at 03 Cbntre(s) i.e. Water Wing Bhuj,
Water Wing Madhopur and Water Wing Hasnabad. E-adrriit card to the provisionally
shortlisted candidate(s) will be issued by CSC in due course of time. Further,
intimation for downloading e-admit card will also be communicated to all concerned
through SMS/e-mail. However, in case provisionally shortlisted candidate(s) does
not receive SMS/e-mail for downloading e-admit card; such candidate(s) must
brought downloaded copy of this notice along with copy of identity proof e.g. Aadhar
Card, PAN Card, Voter Card, Identity Card of any Govt. Organization/Educational,
Institutions etc., for appearing in 2nd Phase.

5. In case any discrepancy is noticed/detected at the time of 2nd Phase or at

any later stage, candidature of such candidate(s) will be cancelled immediately.

6. Representations/objections against questions/answer keys received from

candidate(s) have been carefully examined and modified by outsourced firm
wherever necessary. The final answer keys have been used for evaluation. Marks
of qualified and non-qualified candidate(s) will be made available on the website of
BSF only after declaration of final merit/result.

7. Although due care has been taken while preparing result of Written
Examination (Computer Based Test); however BSF reserves the right to rectify
errors and omission, if any, about the correction of result.

8. Detailed marks of all qualified and non-qualified candidate(s) will be made

available on the website of BSF from 11.10.2023 to 13.10.2023. All candidate(s)
appeared in CBT conducted on 06.08.2023 for various Group-‘B’ & ‘C’ posts in BSF
Water Wing Exam 2023 may check their marks by using their Login ID and
Password.

9. All candidates are advised to visit BSF website regularly regarding issuance
of 2nd Phase e-admit card and any other updates on subject examination.
