approximate 10 millions Filipino scattered all over the world so we are Christian
nation scattered all over the world but we face a lot of issue about this scattering,
this is the reason why they found this PGA , they choose the color Green , green is a
color of peace , color of nurturing and the color growth , and nurturing is
intentional because we cannot built a kingdom our own kingdom we built the
kingdom of God. And nurturing is a on going process it is progressive so they come
here to bring the teaching of leadership but doesn’t mean ay silay mas magaling kay
sa sa atin..that is not the concept .they work together to nurture our selves and we
learn to each other. And off course reach out the Filipino community whenever they
are make sure wherever God planted you in your work place that you become
outstanding witness there

Ministry Focus 5 aspect they called them REALM that is your territory

Relationship – why they want nurture relationship in family and work place, we face
issue our relation in our family we are ? and there is so many family are
dysfunctional that’s the reason why they focus nurturing relationship in family and
work place.

Secondly they nurture the Economic aspect of our life, last year Filipinos like us that
you will notice in the document they mention migrant workers and overseas
Filipino we are now beginning to avoid to used term OFW because ofw for some
Filipino has become prejudicial because some Filipinos who is in the higher position
of their profession they cannot call them OFW. OFW are the laborer , domestic
helpers and this created some tension which is not good . we are all expat if we are
all living outside our own country, now in this case if you are working here
You are called migrant workers pero hindi lahat tayo matatawag mo na migrant
worker like for example our children hindi naman sila nag tatrabaho so they are
overseas. So that is why its called migrant and overseas Filipinos its strike the
balance.
Migrant workers remitted the back to he Philippines 23 billion dollars we are so
much resources but we are poor in our stewardship we do not steward the finances
of God blessing. They want to nurture that area of our finances become good
steward learn how to invest them for the kingdom.
Accuracy – nurturing area of biblical basic bible doctrine theology ..a lot of Filipino
involve in the ministry and mission need to be train need to be encourage need to
be equip therefore they need to focus in this area.

Leadership – that’s is why they establish this seminar because we want to develop
our calling as leaders both personal and organizational leadership .

Mission – they want to develop the mission mind set because we called by GOD, He
invited us to participate in His mission. And what is the mission of God. His mission
is to reconcile the world himself , to bring the lost saving knowledge of Jesus Christ
he is the one who fulfilling that mission and we have been invited to participate in
that mission.

So in a sense because you are an ambassador of Christ you are also a missionary of
Christ . so we need to take care our witness so if our witness is not good or not
outstanding we actually bring shame to the name of our Christ . but if our witnessing
is outstanding we honor god we tell the world that there is better life when come to
personal relationship to Jesus Christ and that is PGA IS ALL ABOUT.

Leadership is a key – is key to everything whether you realize it or not you are a
leader . one of the latest writing or book that’s was written by John Maxwell called
360 leadership because in any organization or any aspect of life we function as
leader . for example in a given organization we usually think of leadership those
who are in the higher position of authority like CEO the senior vice president they
are the leaders when you look at the janitor the maintenance keeper but we don’t
look at them as leader. But there also a leaders but in your home as a father you are
a leader and mother you are leader . so leadership is key everything is hangs on

I want you to think of a leader in any spear but this leader someone who has one
way of another influence your life . it could be a circular leader in your leader
company , community or even characters in the bibles or government family.

Ask to your partner to describe the one you write.

Call someone
Ask what kind of leader why that person
In what sense you choose that leader.

our life we give a lot of good comments .I could be defensive if we here negative
comments sa kanila.

The question is ( if someone is going to choose you as a leader what would they say
about you)

Explanation of the exercise I Samuel 17

When we look into this narrative we always think that the contras is between David
and goliath that is the famous observation ng karamihan . we always listen this
preaching and Sunday school sometime they used this one as Illustration describing
that Goliath is the giant of our life.

But the actual contras actually between David and Saul

When you look both of them when you look at them david and Saul . saul was the
leader of the nation of Israel he was the king .

So both of them has a choice to response the crisis. What was the crisis ? the nation
of Israel is under treat by another Nation. Palestine has the champion in the name
of Goliath. They have advantage physically experience in war the shield the weapon
etc…

When you look the leadership style of Soul he is a very very week leader why
because he is responded in Fear and he is a coward . and his army was ready and
lying in the valley facing the enemy.

Saul responded in fear as the result of that the impact of that responds was that the
army of Israelite was also responding in fear. You see the impact of your leadership
when you bring that lesson to our own personal application as a leader, many times
we face crisis in life and in your leadership position you will face crisis, your
leadership will challenge. You will face situation that are tuft , you will face a
situation that are humanly impossible to address to find a solution. But how you
will respond a crisis such as this? They leader responded in fear in effect the
constituency also felling fearfully .

On the other hand David incidentally inutusan ng kanyang ama para magdala ng
pagkain sa kanyang mga kapatid whos is drafted in the army . david got curious
there is a commotion what is happening here . until he find out there is a champion
in the side whos trying to threaten. He took the battle upon his self . in that case the
leadership skill of david emerge (lumabas ang pagiging leader ni david) as a young
boy he just only 16 years old.

So if we respond in faith so what happen to the army of Israelite they encourage

yung fear paralyzed yung faith energized the army . so we see the contras

was very concern to his personal life.

In contras david was concern for Gods honor . sabi ni David my God is going to fight
this battle for us how there you sabi nya ay Goliath how there you defied the name
of God of Israel. So he was concern for the honor of God.

Humbleness and humility and that is a good traits of a leadership

The greatest influence that you can master as a leader is not because you are
holding a position it should be the humility it should be the character it should be
the integrity that should be posses. That is the greatest force that you can used to
influence others. David used this

1 . read
As we look at these traits I want you to be reflective, start to ask your self nakikita

3. hindi ito yung tipong I do it all , start training others people to develop high
performance team. And that is leadership

a. printing company - because you don’t know everything even hire a PHD
that’s effective leadership.
b. start pointing people who are good doing things

4. without vision people perish . clear vision of the future

gentleness, goodness, faith,
if the fruit of the holy spirit is missing in the leaders gently approach may I share

6. it is reflection of your leadership we need to learn empowering

people .empowering includes training properly , empowering means helping a
person walk beside you until that person think read like you can duplicate like
you. It means you can sleep well at night because you empower them. Church …

7. is not vase on secuiry lies in the size of their salary or the amount of the
benefits that they get pag nawala lahat yun they get insecure , where your
security lies is your security lies achor in Christ? This is important among
leaders.
