Aim:- Compile the information from the government agencies that
will help you set up your business enterprise.
Business Enterprise Title :- Electronic Vehicle Service Management.

1. Describe the help provided by government agencies (MCED,


NI-MSME, PMEGP, DI, KVIC) for specified product/service.
ANS :- • The help provided by Government agencies is as follows :-
➢ MCED (Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development) :-
1. Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (MCED) is a
training institute for common people, who always dream to become an
Entrepreneur , to add value to their lifestyle. 2. It works as a facilitator and
guide for the creation and cultivation of the entrepreneurial spirit and the
concept of employment.
3. MCED use to provide free quality training courses to the trainees under
different age groups between 18 years to 45 years and with minimum
educational qualification of 7th std pass trainees to Post Graduate trainees
as per the requirement of the different sponsoring agency.
4. The MCED acts as a compound for entrepreneurship development by
creating an environment for entrepreneurship in the support system,
developing new entrepreneurship, helping in the growth of existing
entrepreneurs and proliferation of entrepreneurial education.
➢ NI-MSME(National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium
Enterprises) :-
1. The Institute is operating from an integrated Campus in A-23, Sector-62,
Noida, Uttar Pradesh and a Regional Office at Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
2. To provide, supervise and plan training for persons engaged in small
industry development and management activities.
3. To enter into and executive technical assistance / agreements with
international or other organizations for the provision of services for the
development of small industry.
➢ PMEGP (Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme ) :-
1. The Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (which is the
PMEGP full form) is a Government of India-backed credit linked subsidy
scheme. Under this scheme, beneficiaries can get a subsidy amounting to
15-35% of the project cost from the government.
2. No income ceiling for setting up of projects. Assistance under the
Scheme is available only to new units to be established. Existing units or
units already availed any Govt. Subsidy either under State/Central Govt.
3. Some of the leading banks that provide PMEGP Loan are Allahabad Bank,
Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, SBI & PNB etc.
➢ DI(District Industries Centers ) :-
1. District Industries Centers (DICs) provide full assistance to the
entrepreneurs who are going to start the business on their own and in their
regional places. ... These DIC programs can take over the responsibilities in
order to promote cottage and small scale industries at district level
effectively.
2. Entrepreneurship Introductory Programme (Udyojakata Parichay
Karyakram) Entrepreneurship Development Training Programme (12 Day
residential) Technical Training Programme (12 Days to 2 Months non-
residential) 3. The UAM can be filled through the concerned GM (DIC). The
States/UTs have been asked to sensitize their District Industries Centers for
a proactive role in Udyog Aadhaar. Prior to 18-09-15, when the
Entrepreneurs' Memorandum-II was filled with the GM (DIC),
heterogeneous systems were in vogue.
➢ KVIC(Khadi and Village Industries Commission) :-
1. KVIC is a statutory body formed by the Government of India under the
KVIC Act of 1956 that aims to nurse employment and economic uplift in
rural India. The term Khadi goes back to the Swadeshi Movement launched
by Mahatma Gandhi in 1920 by propagating the use of hand-woven and
home-spun fabrics
2. The scheme is implemented by Khadi and Village Industries Commission
(KVIC) functioning as the nodal agency at the national level.

Conclusion :- Hence we learn about many government agencies that will


help us set up our business enterprise.
