COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS 23 NEW BOREHOLES – 2022/3 WORLD
VISION SUPPORT

As you may be aware that it is a requirement for communities to pay One Thousand Five Hundred
Kwacha only (K1, 500.00) cash contribution towards each new borehole that is recommended for
drilling in a particular community. Cash contribution is meant to ensure benefiting communities
accepts, owns and manage the new Water Points in a sustainable manner.

During community sensitization and engagement for borehole drilling, twenty-three (23)
communities were informed to proceed and pay cash community contribution to Pemba Town
Council.
Find attached the list of 23 communities and the amount each community/village should pay to
Pemba Town Council.
