Abstract

This study focused on the correlation of religiousness and academic performances of MPSPC-Tadian
campus during the school year 2022-2023. Two groups of college students were randomly selected using
sampling technique based on the result of the questionnaires that has been distributed.

The study employed experimental design. Frequency count, percentage frequency, weighted mean.
Standard-deviation, dependent and independent t-test were used to compare the correlation of
religiousness of religious student and non-religious students to their academic performances.
The study revealed that the level of religiosity is not the determinant of being high and low
academic performer. But, religiosity serves as a coping mechanism for overcoming the academic,
social, and emotional demands of their academic lives. Thus, the study recommended that
