I found these following three lines from the

book (‫تحفة السالكين رشح فن القصيدة الكاف‬

‫ )األربعون‬it’s author: Abd al-Aziz Bashir al-Din
Hazrat al-Jishti al-Qadri al-Rifai al-
Naqshbandi al-Faizi Says that these verses
belong to Shaik abdul qadir al jeelani who
wrote these for his students or generally :

‫يك َوا ِكفَة‬ َ ‫فاك َرب َُّك َك ْم َي ْك ِف‬

َ ‫َك‬
‫ين َكانَ ِم ْن َك ِل َكا‬ ٍ ‫ِك ْف َكافُ َها َك َك ِم‬
‫تَ ُك ُّر َك ًّر َك َك ِر ال َك ِر ِفي َك َب ِد‬
‫ش َكة لَ َّكا لَ َك ال َك ِل َكا‬
َ ‫ش ْك‬
َ ‫تَ ْح ِكي ُم‬
ُ‫اف ُك ْر َبتَه‬ُ ‫اك ال َك‬ َ ‫اك َما ِبي َك َف‬ َ ‫َك َف‬
‫ب الفَ َل َكا‬
َ ‫َيا َك ْو َكبا َكانَ تَ ْح ِكي َك ْو َك‬

َ ‫فاك َرب َُّك َك ْم يَ ْك ِف‬

‫يك َوا ِكفَة‬ َ ‫َك‬
(May ) Allah protect you , how many does
he protects you from fatal accidents
(advice)

ٍ ‫ِك ْف َكافُ َها َك َك ِم‬

‫ين َكانَ ِم ْن َك ِل َكا‬
Those(fatal accidents) are like a hunter who
wants to catch you

‫تَ ُك ُّر َك ًّر َك َك ِر ال َك ِر فِي َك َب ِد‬

Those (fatal accidentsare are like ropes) tie
your center tightly like a hunter ties his
hunted animal
‫ش َكة َل َّكا َل َك ال َك ِل َكا‬
َ ‫ش ْك‬
َ ‫تَ ْح ِكي ُم‬
Those (fatal accidents) resemble to a sharp
sword or appear like a lion that strikes you
from behind
ُ‫اف ُك ْر َبتَه‬
ُ ‫اك ال َك‬
َ َ‫اك َما ِبي َكف‬
َ َ‫َكف‬
(May) God protect you with the blessing of
my good deeds
(May) ‘kaf’ (short form of ‘Al Kaffi ‘ name of
Allah) protect you from all problems of
what we mentioned

‫ب الفَلَ َكا‬
َ ‫َيا َك ْو َكبا َكانَ تَ ْح ِكي َك ْو َك‬
O star ( He points to the light of his heart)
(O light of the heart) is similar to the star of
the sky

I wrote on‫ن‬this‫ن‬subject‫ن‬a‫ن‬book‫ن‬called‫كالم “ن‬

‫مسبك في كفاك ربك‬.” In Arabic language.
