advertisement for a fictional
resort and spa. It utilizes

fictional Chinese
restaurant’s branding. This
design is meant to exude a
professional, high-end
aesthetic which is evident

balance. It is inspired by
similar restaurant designs.
I changed the font styles to
create more visual
hierarchy between the
headings and detail text. I

for the rest of the text, as
well as increased the size
difference between the
two.
This design was created for a tiki
bar and restaurant advertising their
promotional Negroni week drink
specials. I employed appropriate
design techniques through the use
of color, balance, and hierarchy.
This design features a tiki mask
border that fits the aesthetic of the
business, as well as a two-column
layout to promote the drink
specials. The typography used is
reminiscent of a tiki aesthetic and is
prominently placed using a red font
to match the restaurant’s color
scheme. The headers are placed in

This illustration is a design
that highlights my design
and technical skills with the
Adobe Illustrator program.
It employs appropriate
techniques in regard to
color, balance, and form.
This design required a lot of
creativity since it is meant
to appear hand drawn. I
improved the quality of
some of the “hand drawn”
elements by touching them
up slightly. I also changed
the picnic blanket color to a

moved around the font
elements so that they were
properly centered with the
other elements.
This design was created using the
InDesign software and is a
representation of my skills
working with typography. My tool
choices and techniques are
evident in this design as it
showcases my ability to create a
functional portrait using on text. I
employed elements of design
such as color, space, and shape to
create this design by using the
text in various shades and sizes to
create the shadows and highlights
of a person’s face and hair. After
receiving feedback, I decided to
add more colors and design
