    1. Pedro is the vice president of LGM Mining Corporation. He has been recently appointed
    by the President as Director of Bureau of Mines. Pedro has at least 30% of the stocks in
    LGM Mining Corporation. What is his obligation under R.A. No. 6713? What must he do
    to comply with R.A. No. 6713? Cite the legal provision.

    2. Mario was an engineer at the DPWH Region 3. He resigned from work on December 2,
    2021 because he was recruited by AAA Construction, a triple “A” contractor with
    nationwide projects. He was designated as the coordinator in all government projects.
    He started his employment at AAA on February 6, 2023. His main task was to tap his
    previous co-employees at the DPWH so that he would have inside info on biddings.
    Once he would get info as the lowest contract price that is the most responsive bid, he
    would relay this to AAA’s CEO for them to adjust their bid. Is there a violation of R.A.
    No. 6713? Cite and explain the legal provision if there is; if none, explain why he is no
    longer bound by R.A. No. 6713.

    3. Prosecutor JT is an exemplary prosecutor in the field of terrorism. It being a major


    concern of US government, particularly US DOJ-OPDAT, US DOJ has invited prosecutor JT
    to attend an international training workshop for a month in US free of charge, all
    expenses paid, including an allowance of US$10,000.00. The secretary of justice
    consults to you if there is violation of R.A. No. 6713. What would be your opinion based
    on the law? Explain your legal argument citing the provision of the law.
