In the last few years during the pandemic, the use of the internet and
devices has become an inalienable part of our lives. Distractions can be a
major obstacle in academic progression.
There is a time for fun, also for work and the avenue for procrastination
provided by it are plenty. We need a way to be able to make the most of
both worlds - virtual and the real while using the resources of the internet
to our advantage In learning.
This app works on a “collateral system” to help students finish their
assignments. Banks require collateral for loans as means to secure them.
The student must first enter and save email IDs and that of the teachers.
the app then allows them to select a task assigned and any apps to be
placed as collateral. The app then locks the chosen temporarily while the
student finishes the work. On scaling teacher’s mail the app unlocks the
collateral for satisfactory results and vice-versa.
A maximum of 5 assignments may be activated at a time, Each with their
collateral. At the end of the Week, a report is sent to the student in graph
format to check the progress. It also allows students to set a time frame
during which the collateral is frozen, such as unlocking the app for like 10
mins per couple fo hours. A master to-do list feature allows them to set
deadlines and reminders to allow them to keep track of schedule..
