How to login to Webassign first time

1) Login screen in MTLC: use full crimson email address (student@crimson.ua.edu) and their personal mybama
password.

2) Next login is blackboard: use the BB blackboard link (icon) on the left side of screen.
Login is just the prefix (part before the @crimson.ua.edu) of mybama login (student) and again the personal
mybama password.

3) Next find the course in blackboard and go to Access Webassign.

NOTE: either right click to open in a new tab or click on blue link at top of page to open in a new tab.

4) Next: new students need to create a cengage account. At bottom you will see create account.

5) Next pick STUDENT account.


6) Next use personal information to create account. Select time zone: Central zone not Central America, USE
CRIMSON EMAIL only.

7) Password: better use the same as for blackboard.

8) Students will receive an email to activate account. BEST to open email on computer in a new tab and go to
mybama and check email there instead of phones. Wi-Fi is taking too long for email activation.

9) Return to blackboard or log out and back in, and access webassign again to see this:
