Topic 1:

I usually wake up around six-thirty. My alarm goes off and I turn it off and sleep for another ten
minutes. Then the alarm goes off a second time and I have to get up. I go to the bathroom and brush
my teeth and wash my face. I don’t shower in the morning as I usually take a shower in the evening
before I go to bed. Then I go back to my bedroom and get dressed. I leave my school uniform
hanging in front of my wardrobe so I can put my clothes on easily every day. After that, I go to the
kitchen and have breakfast. My mum usually makes breakfast — just something simple like an egg
and some bread. I don’t like to drink coffee so I have some orange juice. I chat with my mum and dad
during breakfast. But my dad doesn’t talk too much. He likes to catch up on the news on his phone.
But he always says ‘nothing but bad news’ so I don’t know why he reads it. It gets to just after seven
am and I have to leave to go to school. I say goodbye to my mum and dad, give my mum a kiss and I
leave the house. My school is very near where I live so I usually walk to school. If it’s raining, my dad
takes me to school but he always complains about it! I get to school around 7:30 and meet up with
my friends in the usual place. We talk about things we like — music, some TV shows and other stuff.
Then we go to the first class. That is my normal day. But at weekend, I usually wake up later, at
about 9a.m since I dont have to go to school. I often spend my weekend with my family and my
friends. I’d like to hang out with thêm after a hard week just studying.

Topic 2:

My favorite things to do in my free time is hanging out with my friends and playing sports. I am a
very outgoing person, so I love to meet and have relaxing times with my friends at the weekend. We
usually sit at a coffee shop to chat about our week, or we sometimes go shopping to buy some foods
and then cook them at one of our houses. Those times are when I feel comfortable to talk about me,
and it really helps me to reduce the pressure from the works of the entire week. When all of my
friends are busy, I choose to go to the park and play some sports such as badminton and shuttlecock
kicking. There are always people that want to play with me, so I do not need a partner whenever I
want to play a sport. Besides, I also go to the pool to have some fun under the water, and I am pretty
good at swimming. A week for me is so long, but thinking of the free and good time to do whatever I
like on Saturday and Sunday gives me more strength and energy to finish it.

Topic 3:

Like other teenagers, I also have an unhealthy eating habits. I often get up late in the morning so I
have to skip the breakfast to get to school on time. Sometimes during the day off, my breakfast and
lunch are just 1 pack of instant noodles, it’s really not good for health but it has become my habit.
At school, I sometimes have fast food and Pepsi for lunch, but it just at weekend. About daily days, I
usually have lunch at home with my family. My lunch consists of rice, and meat is the mainly dish in
my meal. I don’t like vegetable and fish so I rarely eat them. I prefer chicken and chips more. But
recently, I have read a few articles that eating a lot fast food will cause threatening diseases. Since
then, I have gradually given up on fast food and started to eat healthier. I begin to eat more
vegetable – even though I don’t like it before. I eat clean for about 1 week, decrease the sugar in my
food. At first, it’s very hard to get aquainted with that, there are times when I crave sweets very
much, but I stll can handle and overthrough it. Beside, I also try to eat dinner earlier and avoid eating
snacks at night. I also go to bed early before 23p.m and get up early in the morning to do some
activities and the most important things is to have breakfast.before going to school.
