Topic 4:My hobby

Hobby is one of the most important things we should have in our lives. It is
something that you enjoy doing, something that brings relief of the daily grind
and allows you to relax. Of all hobbies in the world, I like music the most. For
me, music is the best hobby ever. You should look around and you can see that
music is everywhere. I enjoy music and I listen it every single day. There are a
lot of different styles of music for you to choose and enjoy. If I am in good
mood, I prefer to listen some energy rock music that keep me happy and full of
power. If I am tired, I chose some calm, relaxing songs. Music can speak,
through music people can express feelings and emotions. When you hear
something that looks like you, that you understand it easily, you start to love it.
There are several different ways to enjoy music as your hobby. When you
discover an artist or musician that you satisfies, it’s clear that you want to
collect all of their works. Not only listening to music, a music collection is a
great hobby to have, too. Music is a hobby that has no boundaries. It makes the
world smaller. Without music, life would be a mistake.
Topic 5:My house
House is where we grow up and are loved by our parents. Born and raised in
Bac Ninh City, I have a house here situated in the suburb of Bac Ninh, within
15 minutes drive from the central city. The house is quite large and comfortable.
It has 4 floors and a terrace roof. There is also a small garden between the
garage and the house, where I usually played football when I was a kid. In
addition, my mother designs a terrace vegetable garden on the rooftop, which
makes the house more green. The house has enough room for our daily
activities. There are 8 rooms in the house: one living room, one TV room, one
kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all of those are equipped with
modern facilities like dishwasher, electric fire, games console . Family support
is a strong advantage to me, helps me alleviate difficulties in studying. I hope in
the future, I will have my own house like that.
Topic 6:My teacher
My homeroom teacher is named Huong. She has a small figure. Her voice is
gentle. She taught us English. Normally she is very strict. We need to complete
all of our homework and study the past before going to class. However, she also
loves us very much. On hot days, she would buy us ice cream or soft drinks. On
rainy days, she will wait with us for our parents. She often told us meaningful
stories. On holidays she willingly joined us on camping. She gives us a sense of
intimacy. We treat her like a mother. There are sad stories or awkward matters
we all want to tell you and listen to my advice. She is a wonderful teacher.
Thanks to you, I feel joy when I go to school. She taught us both knowledge and
love. We have always loved you.
Topic 7:My close friend
I have a best friend, and his name is Nhat Anh.Nhat Anh has been my classmate
since we were in elementary school, and it means that we have been friends for
more than ten years. He lives near my house, so it can be said that he is also my
neighbor. He is a chubby boy with curly black hair. He wears a pair of very
thick classes since he is short eye sighted. He has been wearing them since he
was a little boy, and it is hard to recognize him without his classes even for me.
Nhat Anh is a good student at our school, but in return he is pretty bad at
outdoor activities and sports. He spends most of his time studying, and his free
time is used for playing video games or eating. I am his best friend, but my
appearance is the total opposite from him. I am a tall and slim girl, and I love to
play sports like basketball and badminton. I try my best to take him outside, but
I usually fail to do so. Instead, I will sit down and play games with him, and
after that we will go outside to get something to eat. He helps me a lot with the
school work, and we usually study together. We do our own homework, but
after that we will exchange our notebooks to check each other's result. Every
morning he stops by my house and waits for me to go to school together. We
ride our own bikes, but recently his mother has an idea for him to work out that
he has to take me to school on his bike as his morning exercise. Although he is
not a prominent boy, most of the classmates still like him because of his kind
and gentle personality. I am proud to have a friend like him, and I think that we
are totally suitable each other.
