APPLICATIONS
■ Low-viscosity Hy-Gard hydraulic/transmission oil provides the best performance
and wear protection for John Deere hydraulic and transmission systems in cold
weather operation.
■ Recommended for use in all John Deere combines.
■ Recommended for equipment with either common system reservoirs or separate
transmission and hydraulic systems.
■ Recommended for many commercial and consumer products requiring ISO32 viscosity oil in

hydraulic and hydrostatic transmissions.

HY-GARD

■ Is compatible with, and may be added to, John Deere units using all-weather hydrostatic oil.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

■ Formulated with friction modifiers to provide smooth clutch engagement.
■ Formulated with a viscosity improver additive to ensure correct viscosity at all
temperatures; this additive is not found in many competitive oils, yet it is critical
to equipment performance and component protection.
■ Low-viscosity Hy-Gard oil is an ISO Viscosity Grade 32.
■ Low-viscosity Hy-Gard oil exceeds JDM J20D specification. Some competitive oils may
meet these minimum J20 specificatons, but none meet the performance requirements
placed on low-viscosity Hy-Gard oil.
