Lost my grandpa

I lost my grandfather a few years ago, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever been

through. My grandpa was one of the most kind hearted people.He loved helping people out,

he was a very happy person making everyone laugh with his jokes. He was like my best

friend even more than a best friend but someone I could call a father he was the one who was

there for me since birth. I loved him so much.

I still remember the day he passed away very clearly. I was home playing games with my

family when my uncle got a phone call from the police telling him that my grandpa had had

an accident on his way home. Tears fell down his cheeks. He couldn't even say a word to the

family. Then the words came out “grandpa passed away”.I couldn't believe it, my heart felt

tight, I felt like my whole world had been shattered into millions of pieces.

I fell on the floor balling my eyes out for hours. I couldn't imagine my life without him. He

was always there for me, no matter what. He taught me so much about life, the big smiles he

brought to my face and I'm so grateful for the time we had together.

The days and weeks after his death were very difficult for me. I missed him so much, and I

didn't know how to cope with my grief. But slowly I started to heal, and I learned to live with

the loss of my grandfather. I won't forget him that easily, he is still in my heart but I have to

accept reality.

I still think about him every single day, and I know how much I miss him terribly. But I

know that he's in a better place now, he is resting easily, and he could be free. I am now

comforted by that thought I have, I should let him rest easy.

I'm so grateful for all the memories I had with my grandfather. He was a wonderful man, and

I'll never forget him. He will always be in my heart and all the memories I have with him will

never fade away. I cherished them always.Losing a grandparent is a painful experience, but

it's also an opportunity to let you learn and grow. Your grandfather's love and wisdom will

stay with you forever and he will always be there for you even if he is somewhere else he is

always beside you.
