Relative clauses give more information about the subject or the object of a
sentence.

Grammar
Temporals
When we use temporals such as when, before, after, until, once, by the time,
etc. to talk about the future, we follow them with a present or a present
perfect tense.

Temporals aren’t followed by the


future tense
e.g.: After I finish my homework, I’ll help you with yours.
By the time Janet arrives, the film will be finished.
_We use a present perfect tense to emphasis that the first action is finished
before the other one starts.
***Note: We can’t use a present tense if one action has finished.
e.g.: You cannot watch TV when you have cleaned the table.
(It means you’ll clean the table first and then you’ll watch TV)
e.g.: Once everyone has eaten, we’ll begin.
(It means everyone will eat first and then we’ll start)
