TRAINING/PROJECT PROPOSAL NO. 1

I. TITLE: HOME VISITATION

II. PROPONENT: PRINCESS JANE O. QUEMATON
III. PROPOSED DATE: NOVEMBER 4, 2022
IV. VENUE: POBLACION ZONE 1
V. RATIONALE :

“We`ve come to a frightening conclusion that WE TEACHERS, the decisive

element in the life of our pupils. It’s our personal approach that creates the climate. It’s our
daily mood that makes the weather. As a teacher, we possess a tremendous power to make a
child’s life miserable or joyous. We can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. We
can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. In all situations it is our response that decides whether a
crisis will escalate or de-escalate and a child humanized or de-humanized. “
We should be aware of individual differences of our pupils, we must know their
problems that may be sources of high stress of those children. Through individual talks and
HOME VISITATIONS, we may be able to help those pupils to cope their struggles in order
to improve their LEARNING.
For the best part of a teacher individual talks and HOME VISITATIONS more than
just another job. It is almost a sacred calling. All teachers are called, not only to instruct
pupils/students in their subject in school but to visit them in their own dwelling place
(although to do this well is an enormously valuable service). We must influence & touch their
lives, especially if they are young and impressionable…”

The purpose of conducting this program is to motivate, to encourage, to guide and to

inspire our special pupils who can`t identify their multiple intelligences namely:
LINGUISTIC INTELLIGENCE, LOGICAL-MATH INTELLIGENCE, MUSICAL
INTELLIGENCE, VISUAL-SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE, NATURALIST INTELLIGENCE,
INTERPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE, INTRAPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE &
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, they need to be visited to make their learning meaningful
and improved their performance level. Additional purpose of this HOME VISITATION
especially those pupils who are transferees from other school is to make sure that all
requirements must be completed at the end of the school year so that their records will not
void.
